Growing up in Puerto Rico, Patri and her sisters could always identify their volleyball at the gym — it was the one tagged “ACV2” with black marker. Pronounced in Spanish, ACV2 sounds like “Acevedo,” Patri’s last name. So when it came time to name her practice, there was really only one contender. A long-standing nickname that is short and sweet and deeply personal, inviting clients and collaborators to share in her story.

AcV2 architecture is a collaborative design practice in Rapid City, South Dakota. Our design process starts with listening to each client’s unique needs and aspirations for their project. We value close communication with our clients and consultants, as we solve each design challenge.

SERVICE. Patri started AcV2 architecture because she saw an opportunity to offer quality design services with an emphasis on service. AcV2 delivers well-designed projects, and we take special pride in the level of personalized service that AcV2 provides to their clients. We serve our clients by understanding what is important to them and delivering value.

STEWARDSHIP. AcV2 specializes in adaptively reusing and renovating buildings (commercial and residential) and creating infill solutions that catalyze smart growth and renewal. We strive to make sustainable strategies simple to implement and environmentally responsible buildings easy to operate for our clients.

We are certified as an Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) through the SBA.

Our mission is to enhance individuals’ lives and communities by initiating thoughtful architectural designs that respect our existing natural and built environments.
